Dressage
Ever since around 1965, the illustrations and text of 'Dressage' by Bernard Montorgueil have been passed from hand to hand in furtive excitement. At first only obtainable from the underground network of sellers that printed and distributed often incomplete and poorly printed versions, later on through the internet.

As far as I know, there were two translations of the original French language version made. One into German, the other into English. The English translation seems only to have been printed in a limited way and only in a hardback version of Montorgueil's masterpiece. Copies are rare, hard to come by and tend to be sold at auction.

As you may well have noticed, I am not an author to steal another's hard work, and yet I thought that it would be amusing if there was a more accessible English language version of Montorgueil's works available. So, I have translated it from the French into clear English for your delectation. An author that understands the material thoroughly is always preferable and it cannot be denied that this is my speciality!

At around 20,000 words, this is a definitive modern translation that not only does the original justice, it updates the style of the telling of a tale that allows the reader to discover the context of the illustrations that are so justly famous.

In addition to the full uncensored text of the original, I have added a preface that explains a little about the book as well as end-notes that comment on specific textual points. All of this in such a way as to allow the reader to enjoy the text and illustrations as they were originally intended to be experienced by the reader.

The tale is one of a master training his male slave to become suitably obedient and pliable for his use. In order to break the slave's heterosexual preferences to his own needs, the master regales the slave with tales of the sadistic wicked women that are even less preferable to having a male master! The tale is a complex interaction between several groups of characters that abuse their slaves as they enjoy the pleasures of ownership.

Because I do not wish to jeopardize  my commercial relationship with my e-commerce site, I have chosen Classic X Books as a suitable seller of this translated version of 'Dressage'.

The illustrations are somewhat risqué and this could possibly be a problem. This means that you will be directed to Classic X Books to be able to buy and download this book. They have the exclusive copyright to sell my translation...

I have censored the cover on my own site as I do not wish to have pictorial material of an adult nature that might attract minors to my site. The cover is uncensored in the eBook!

Oh, and by the way, I argue that this book was written in around 1960 and not the 1930's which is occasionally offered as the creation date. Read the prologue if you want to know why I think that there is good reason to think so...
