What happens when a visitor to this site wishes to buy a book?

How does it all work?
None of the files that are on sale are on this site. For this, I use Gumroad, an e-commerce site that handles the transaction and the sending of your purchase.
Simply put, when you click on the buy button on my site, a new tab on your browser is opened to the corresponding page on Gumroad. Here you can read an abbreviated description of the book (to make sure that it is the right one) and make your purchase.
You can buy using the facilities of PayPal or by using your credit (or debit) card.
Once the purchase is made, you will receive an e-mail that contains the two files for download to your computer or phone. One version in ePub format, one version in PDF format. I have used these two because they are the most flexible to use on any device.
Since Gumroad collects your email, you will be wondering if there is any danger of being deluged by spam and messages from either Gumroad or myself. You will notice in the mail that sends the two versions of your purchased book, that there is an 'unsubscribe' link. Feel free to use this link! I will not send any promotional shit to you. I have calculated the price of the books by the number of words, but you will soon notice that the longer books are correspondingly more value in this regard as the word-count lengthens.

This is what you will see in the mail to you. Click on 'View content'. It is here that you can 'unsubscribe' if you wish.
When you have clicked on 'View content' you will be able to download by clicking the buttons.
